The Parish Council can award Grants to support community projects under section 137(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1972,  for 2022-23 is £8.82 per elector. In order to apply for this grant, grant applications will need to be in to the Clerk before October. This is because the Council set’s the budget and precept for the coming year. The Council sets aside up to £1000.oo per year to help fund community projects. Whilst the Council has the General Power of Competence there is no limit to how much a grant could be. This is at the Council’s discretion.
